The last 35% of this book was really interesting

But like wtf she killed her husband and it barely seems to phase her. Not to mention theres a tree possessing and stealing others in her family and shes just like yeah this makes sense we live on haunted ground now. What is wrong with her???

The elemental aspects were really cool though

I could not get past her husband being under a tarp in the yard and continually taking her children outside and no one seems to be impacted by this.

Wonderfully written again by author, she keeps me reading until the end! I wish I could get her new novel Mothered!
