I really liked the first book. Louisa Clark was an interesting character, and her development was solid. This book, and the addition of Lily, was too cliché and it was difficult to like much about it. Disappointing.
I had been waiting to read this book as soon as it came out. In fairness, it's probably just 4.5 stars for me. I don't think it read like a sequel. Sure, there were references to Me Before You but this could be a stand alone book. Louisa was just as funny & quirky as before, as were her odd family. Is Louisa really living life or just existing? At first I didn't like when someone from Will's past shows up, but it did raise some interesting questions. JoJo Moyes creates characters who will stay with you long after you finish the book. Yes, you will probably cry but you'll also laugh out loud.
I enjoyed reading this book, a follow up to the book Me before You, But this just didn't have the emotion touch as the first book.
What happens to Louisa Clark after Will's death. This was nowhere near as good as "Me Before You" which I loved.
