Hades, God of the Underworld, is known for his inflexible rule, luxurious night clubs, and impossible bargains. Used to control, he is not prepared to discover the Fates have chosen his future wife and Queen--Persephone, Goddess of Spring.

Despite her attraction to the god, Persephone, an ambitious journalism student, is determined to expose Hades for his cruel and ruthless ways. She defies him at every turn, even as the attraction between them explodes.

Hades finds himself faced with the impossible--proving his future bride wrong. Regardless of his efforts, there are forces who wish to keep the two apart and Hades comes to realize he will do anything for his forbidden love, even defy Fate.

Omg this book was even better than the 1st! I love love love Hades point of view. His friendship with Hecate and Hermes is great! also the spice scenes did feel excessive here.

Hades is ALL IN! I wish I read this in tandem with a Touch Of Darkness, it brought the story full circle. I enjoyed the power struggle and the view of the bigger story. I had initially found Persephone annoying and childlike. It is spicy so if you don't read spice or are easily offended, this is not for you. Also Hecate is my favorite character, she game the balance.

This was literally 'A touch of darkess' from Hades perspective. I know this isn't possible, but I really do wish that the two books were combined into one with dual perspectives because a lot of scenes were exactly the same and it felt repetitive. In ATOD a lot of times we knew what Hades was thinking just based on the way the interaction went, what we didn't know what was happened and after so that was nice to know, but as I said, rehashing the entire scene got boring and I skimmed sometimes.

I will say, I do love Hades and I am loving this series. I'm off to read 'A Touch of Ruin'.
