Adore the whole series however This specific book was a top for me.

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas is a brilliant, action-packed conclusion to the trilogy that had me hooked from start to finish. This book takes everything to the next level—thrilling battles, high-stakes politics, and emotional depth. The twists and turns are both devastating and triumphant, making this book impossible to put down.

Absolutely loved this one, the further development of the characters and the tension - both drama wise, and spice level

Why do I keep reading this series? I don’t enjoy it at all. The same type of battle scenes, same sex scenes over and over, the use of the word “mate” hundreds of times, and really this just feels like nothing new is actually happening that needs this book to be 700 pages long. Poor girl gets herself in trouble, she’s rescued by mythical creatures, the boy creatures fight over her, she finds herself, she fights, everyone fights, ooh magic and wings and lots of graphic unoriginal sex. The end. Book #56 in 2024
