Houston Book Clubs

The purpose of this group is to create community centered on the shared interests and experiences of parenthood and a love of books. It's an excuse to prioritize reading and ourselves during busy life seasons with young children or while growing families. We will meet once monthly to casually discuss a selected book, our interests, and lives in a family friendly, in-person space as reasonable. Please bring your kids, or not, whichever you prefer. Remember kids must be accompanied by their adult(s). Although this group is not limited to mothers, despite its name, there will be a focus on modern motherhood. Our book selections will highlight new releases, women authors, and stories from the margins across genres. Example texts follow: Educated by Tara Westover, Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder, The Moment of Lift by Melinda Gates, What Kind of Woman by Kate Baer, and The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennet,
