Under The Walnut Tree

Under the Walnut Tree is a new relaxed online non-fiction book club for readers drawn to nature, craft, place and the quieter pleasures of how we live.

Every two months we'll read a thoughtful book together - from woods, gardens and the natural world to making, craftsmanship, rural life and the stories behind the things we grow, make and keep.

This is a book club without homework or pressure. Read every page or just some of them. Join the conversation as you go, leave a thought on the discussion board, come along to an informal online gathering — or simply read quietly alongside us.

There is no expectation to have something clever to say and no need to join in with every book. Under the Walnut Tree is as much about connection as it is about books: a welcoming place to meet other curious readers, share thoughts when you feel like it and discover books you might otherwise have missed.
