The Plot Hole

The Plot Hole is For The Plot Books’ thriller and mystery club for readers who read the ending first and feel no guilt about it. We cover the full genre spectrum — psychological thrillers, classic whodunits, locked room mysteries, true crime-adjacent fiction, cozy mysteries, and dark suspense. If it has a body, a secret, or an unreliable narrator, we’re probably reading it.

We meet once a month and we come to dissect. Discussion is spoiler-forward by design. We talk about the twist, the red herring, the moment you knew, and the moment you absolutely did not. Plot craft is fair game. So is complaining about endings that don’t deliver.

Participation guidelines are minimal: read the book, form a theory, show up ready to defend it or abandon it entirely based on what the group says. New mystery readers and genre veterans are equally at home here.
