Welcome to the English Major's Book Club

First, a disclaimer: you do not have to be an English major to join this club. I chose the name because I miss talking about books like I did in my classes in college, reading deep books that made me think, and dissecting the minute details with people who love literature.

What we read

We will read one book per month, voted on by members. At the end of each month, we will have a virtual meeting to discuss the book and share thoughts.

Each month, I will ask for suggestions for our next read. Of these suggestions, I will pick a few to include in a poll. The books should be classics or award winners, the kind of books you would expect to read in a college class. They can be recent, but my goal is to read books that really make us think.
