About INACTIVE (Spooky Reads ATX)
Please read before joining:
- Anyone who identifies as a woman and likes talking about spooky things is welcome to join us.
- We are pro-woman, anti-racist and queer friendly. We work very hard to create a safe space for all, and expect appropriate, non-offensive behavior, and ability to discuss dark topics with maturity from our members.
- We meet once a month to discuss that months pick. Locations change from month to month, but it will always be somewhere in Central or East Austin. We aim to pick chill places with a variety of food/drinks and easy parking.
- In addition to being spooky, we try to align our picks with a monthly theme (ex: Pride month, Native American Heritage month, etc.)
- We sometimes need to cap the number of attendees, meaning if you RSVP "yes", but don't show up, you may have taken that spot from someone else. If we notice that you consistently RSVP for events and subsequently don't show up (or change your RSVP to "no" at the last minute), we may remove you from the group.
