Snail Tales: Silent Reading Meetups

Welcome, fellow book lovers!

Snails Tales Silent Reading Meetups is a casual, in-person reading community serving the New York City and Westchester County areas.

The idea is simple: bring whatever book you're currently reading, find a comfortable spot, enjoy some uninterrupted reading time, and connect with other readers along the way.

📚 No Assigned Reading

There are no required books, reading schedules, or formal book discussions. Read whatever you like! You're also welcome to share the book you're currently reading in the app's Currently Reading section so other members can discover new titles, exchange recommendations, and talk about their reading interests.

🐌 Socializing Is Optional

Some people may want to chat and get acquainted before or after reading. Others may prefer to settle in and enjoy their books quietly. Both are perfectly welcome!

📍 Meetups & Locations

Meetups may take place at libraries, bookstores, cafés, museums, and other public locations. Members are also welcome to share their own reading meetups as the community grows.
