Twilight Terror Book Club

We are a thriller/suspense/mystery/horror genre book club in the Lowell/Chelmsford, Massachusetts area. 18+ only. We meet in person at a restaurant. We typically meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6pm (exceptions are usually made in the summer around the 4th of July and August- please check the dates carefully!). We do not meet virtually except in the case of bad weather. 

Group Rules

• Be respectful
• Please respect each other and each other’s opinions. Lively discussion is encouraged; disrespect is not.
• Come having read the book (or part of it!)
• Everyone should have attempted the book.
• DNFs are totally fine, and so is not finishing due to time — just make sure you’ve read a good portion so you can participate in the discussion.
• This is a discussion-based book club
• We do actively discuss the book, so come ready to share your thoughts.
• Get the book on your own
• Everyone is responsible for obtaining their own copy of the book (library, bookstore, ebook, audiobook, etc.).
• Everyone covers their own food & drinks
• Everyone pays for their own food and beverages. We request separate checks.
• Please be on time
• We begin discussing the book close to the scheduled start time.
• Attendance & communication matter
• You’re allowed two no-shows without notice.
• If you do not attend a meeting twice without updating your RSVP AND messaging Leeanne, you will be immediately removed and blocked from the group after the second time. This is a strict policy with no exceptions.
• Only RSVP "Yes" or "No"
• Due to the size of the group, we cannot accept "Maybe" as an RSVP. Please only RSVP yes or no. Maybe RSVP's will be changed to a No.
• New members: try us out first!
• New members are encouraged to attend one meeting before RSVPing for future meetings to make sure this group is the right fit for you.
