History Aficionados

World history, the history of science, costume history—the club will be open to discussing all types of history. It won’t matter if you know a lot or know nothing; your curiosity and willingness to learn, and a willingness share your interests and thoughts are what matter. We may, from time to time, decide to have a field trip to somewhere history-related, or perhaps attend performances or events. The club’s founder will build off the books we read but be open to novel experiences, too. And we may even venture into the realm of historical fiction that is particularly well done. Patrick O’Brian novels, anyone? The club’s founder has a PHD in history but knows she has only scratched the surface of what there is to learn.
