About Hearth Center Parent & Caregiver Book Club
Hi, I’m Maia, founder of Hearth Center and facilitator of this book club. I created this group for parents, caregivers, professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about babies, early childhood, and the science of human development. Together, we’ll explore books that deepen our understanding of infant behavior, brain development, attachment, sleep, emotional regulation, and the powerful role of nurturing relationships.
As a Nurture Neuroscience™ Practitioner in training, I am passionate about helping people view infants and young children through a neurodevelopmental lens. While I’ll help guide discussion and share insights from nurture neuroscience, this is not a lecture or a class. It’s a space for curiosity, reflection, and meaningful conversation.
Whether you’re expecting a baby, raising young children, working with families, or simply interested in infant development, you’re welcome here. My hope is that this book club feels like a gathering around the hearth and a place where people can learn together, ask questions, share experiences, and leave with a deeper understanding of both children and themselves.
