Family Book Club

If your family loves to read together or wants to start, then the Family Book club is for you! Each month we'll choose a title the whole family will love to read and talk about together, sharing how to read aloud, read together and talk about books as a family of readers. This club is best for families with children ages 8 and up. This club meets during the evening of the 4th Thursday of each month at the bookshop. Hosted by Read Books and Facilitated by one of our readerly community families. Meet the Raftery Family: The Raftery Family is a family of voracious readers! Meghan, an educator, is a fast and eclectic reader of just about anything and loves to pair fiction titles with non-fiction deep dives. Kevin, a firefighter, is a non-fiction only reader with a fondness for food, music, weather and strange biographies. Jude, an 11 year old scientist, likes fantasy series, maps and timelines.
