This North Carolina based book club is run by a Muslim, Nigerian, 30+ year old who finds communities built around stories to be both engaging and comforting.

Often times, as women of color, we find ourselves the minority in MANY rooms. I believe, a book club should be an exception. We deserve to read diverse stories and to hear diverse opinions.

This is a new bookclub, founded in Nov 2024 and so we are going to start with baby steps. Come as you are: with your latest read, repeat-read even if you are in a reading rust (psst, i often find myself in one)
