This club is meant for everyone who wants to connect to humanity in a meaningful way and make supportive connections in the local community.

The club is currently meeting once a week as a way to gain momentum and make connections to whoever can come. We are currently reading Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinburg. My plan was to read through a few pages of chapter 3 at the next meeting and discuss the content, as well as people's ideas and plans for how to proceed with the club and which books to read next. The book is free to download as per the author's wishes on hir official website.

Next Meeting is at 12PM at Linebaugh Library in the upstairs conference room on the 19th of April.

This book briefly and vaguely mentions anti-semitism, assault, and other adult material so the next meeting is teen and up. I plan on reading some of the children's books banned for discussing transgender and generally queer issues later, so those meetings would be more all ages.
