This meetup group is created for all women in Lake Forest who love to read (and/or would like to begin reading more consistently <- me) and discuss books over a glass of wine or tea. We aim to create a warm and inclusive environment for all book enthusiasts, whether you're an avid reader or curious about finding inspiration in literature.

Join us for lively conversations, meaningful connections, and a great opportunity to expand your reading list. Together, let's explore diverse genres and share our love for reading while sipping on our favorite wines.

Meeting Frequency and Format:

Join us on the last Monday of every month at 6 PM in Lake Forest.

**** Please note that you must be able to attend the meetings. It is always the last Monday of the month - with a few exceptions but you can see the annual calendar here: Calendar. If you miss two meetings in a row, you will be removed from the group****

Club Atmosphere:

At our club, the only drama is deciding whose turn it is to refill the wine glasses. We're not just turning pages; we're turning frowns upside down! We welcome women from all parts of the planet. Have an accent? Speak other languages? Are you from here? Are you from there? <- You are welcome here.

Book Selection Process:

Every month you bring a suggestion within the assigned genre, and we draw a couple of selections from a "hat."

The only rule: Be yourself! flaws are welcome, be genuine. No need for social anxiety here...you are in a safe place... Oh! and we don't discuss politics or religion at our meetings.
