Belper Silent Book Club

Rather than all reading the same book at home and talking about it together, we all bring along whatever book we like and read together in silence (apart from some nice, quiet background music)!

At the start of the evening, we'll welcome everyone in and we can have a bit of a chat about what we're reading and so on, and we'll check in quickly at the end too. But the rest of the time is dedicated to reading, away from the noise and distractions that can so often stop us from settling in with a good book!

We meet at a gorgeous cafe in central Belper, which will be serving hot drinks and cakes/brownies etc. The book-loving owner is even doing us a special deal of a coffee/tea and a sweet treat for a fiver :) And if you forget a book, Stephanie from Dormouse Books is even on hand with a selection for sale!
