A Slow-Paced Online Reading Group

We're a reading group that meets every week (time TBD) to discuss the book we're currently working on. The goal for me in this group, as I hope it'd be for those wanting to join, is to improve on our skills in basic analysis and close reading outside of a school setting. This involves taking the text for what it is, and taking careful note of its style, tone, syntax, etc., to articulate a well-argued claim about it. My hope is to read a text slowly and to talk about it in multiple sessions.

I personally don't have much preference for texts so long as it's at least adjacent to what some might consider the canon. Hopefully, we can get to a point where we vote on what we want to read.

To get a feel for what we might read, as this group is new, my recent reads include Howards End, The Waves, and The Sympathizer.
