Books 📚 Beverages 🥃 & Blankets! is a virtual book discussion club for those who are either literally home-bound for whatever reason (whether completely homebound or predominantly homebound, like me!) OR even if not, those who still prefer to hang out at home, read good books and discuss them with others, hopefully from all over the world, for different viewpoints.

As this book club is brand-new, I'll choose the first couple books for us to start off with while this club is getting off the ground. But once "Books 📚 Beverages 🥃 & Blankets!" has gotten at least a few members (who are all free to make suggestions of which books to read!), we can either vote on the choices and/or take turns with each member getting a chance to pick a book to read & discuss each meeting. Same thing goes for discussing what day(s) and time(s) for meetings are best for everyone and how often to meet.

"Books 📚 Beverages 🥃 & Blankets!" is open to reading books from a wide variety of authors of all ethnicities, races, religions, gender & sexual identities, and disabilities, as well as virtually all genres EXCEPT:

1.) Horror (especially with gratuitous violence)

2.) Smut/Pornography and other graphically sexual books

If this sounds good to you, then kick off your shoes, change into some comfy PJs or loungewear & cozy slippers, get yourself a nice cold (or hot, as you prefer!) drink, grab a cuddly blanket or throw, and snuggle in on the sofa, in a comfortable chair or in bed under the covers for a good read & talk with others who love books!
