How does the Cornwall small town setting with the beautiful house upon the cliff set the stage for the mystery? How does the author imbue Spyglass with life and personality of its own?
Alice Feeney is the "queen of twists" and there were lots of them in this novel. Which twist threw you for the biggest loop?
Were you able to predict any of the twists ahead of time? What breadcrumbs did Feeney leave?
On the flip side, this many twists and turns can be hard to keep track of. Did you ever feel overwhelmed? Or were you able to keep track of everything?
Feeney is also known for her use of unreliable narrators. Of the four narrators, Eden, Birdy, Harrison and Carter, who did you initially trust, if anyone?
The characters in My Husband's Wife are flawed, but did you find any of them relatable or sympathetic at all? Who was your favorite character?
