Red, Black and Green! is a fictional organization, but there are many organizations around the country led by people of color fighting for climate justice. If you were aware of this, how did you find out? If not, why do you think it’s not more widely known and visible?
In the beginning of the book, Yolanda saw the world as filled with winners or losers, and she was determined to be a winner. Later, as an FBI infiltrator, she was exposed to a movement that believed the game was unfairly rigged. What beliefs do you hold about who wins and loses? Have those changed over time?
