This is a thoroughly mature romance with two great characters. Don’t expect anything particularly steamy, and I can’t say a ton happens, but I loved the whole story! I so wish I could have bumped into Michael and Marnie in a pub on the way across England. I just know we would have all gotten along famously! Great book!!!!

You Are Here by David Nicholls is a funny, heartfelt novel about two strangers, Marnie and Michael, who walk coast to coast from Cambria to North Yorkshire and slowly reconnect with the world and themselves. The characters are relatable, the dialogue witty, and the story moves at a brisk pace.
