Year of Yes

I loved, loved, loved this book.  I was moved and entertained.  If you loved Greys Anatomy, Scandal, or How to Get Away with Murder than this book is a treasured look into the life of their creator.  Just like watching those shows, this book made me feel seen and less alone. It was inspiring.  It found me at the right time, but I wish I had read it years ago. 

This book was an all right book. At times it felt very brag-y, but I guess that's how these books are sometimes.

I liked this! I listened to this one as an audiobook on my commute. I'm a fan of Scandal & myself suffer from 'saying no' to most opportunities. I appreciate how open and honest Shonda was about her struggles and what she learned from putting herself out there!

Very funny at times, interesting, and even a little inspiring. Probably more interesting if you've seen Grey's Anatomy and Scandal. I've only watched a season of Scandal, but maybe I'll go back and binge watch Grey's Anatomy. (I also never watched ER, House, Scrubs, or any of the doctor shows except Doogie Howser, and that was a really long time ago!)
