This was my first Lauren Weisberger book, and I was a little worried to jump into this one without reading The Devil Wears Prada first, so I watched the movie instead. Honestly, it was probably unnecessary. I already had a good enough grasp of the important characters, and this novel can completely stand on its own. I thoroughly enjoyed it! It's the perfect read for the summer--on the beach, by the pool, or curled up on the couch! The characters were delightful, the story engaging, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments! A perfect distraction!
