I really enjoyed this books. Long time vampire lover and anthology reader, I figured I'd give this book a try. However, years later I kind of forgot to read it. Now I am kicking myself, but I'm so happy I did finally read it.
Favorite stories aka I gave these 5 stars:
* The Boys From Blood River by Rebecca Roanhorse
* The Boy and the Bell by Heidi Heilig
* A Guidebook for the Newly Sired Desi Vampire by Samira Ahmed (Honestly, this author made it to my favorite author's list with this one. Absolutely adored the writing and humor).
* Mirrors, Windows, and Selfies by Mark Oshiro
* The House of Black Sapphires by Dhonielle Clayton
These next ones were my lower rated stories. I just personally didn't find the writing to be quite there for me. However, I still found the story and premise to be enjoyable.
* Seven Nights for Dying by Tessa Gratton
* Senior Year Sucks by Julie Murphy
* Vampires Never Say Die by Zoraida Cordova & Natalie C. Parker
Then finally the middle ground stories for me.
* In Kind by Kayla Whaley
* Bestiary by Laura Ruby
* First Kill by Victoria "V.E." Schwab
Overall if you enjoy vampires, YA, and anthologies that have you looking into deeper questions about yourself and the world then give this book a try.
