Holy guacamole this book is hot!
I don't want to spoil it very much so I will keep this vague.
They meet in college, she wont let him in because she has something dark always looming over her shoulder.
Their chemistry is undeniable though, and he instantly becomes attached and even does some light cyber stalking of her. This book truly depicts these little taboo and toxic traits like that feel safe to love, which is something I appreciate Claire did.
There is a time jump and he is determined to find her after she just dips.
Once they reunite its hot and heavy and a little bit of hate sex mixed in there.
The steam is good, the action and mystery is so good as well. Claire had outdone herself with this one.
