Super steamy and mysterious
I enjoyed this book like I enjoyed those super salacious and toxic love stories. Lots of secrets and lies, and this intense attraction.
Both MCs were like magnets to each other. As soon as they were in the same vicinity, it's like someone lit a fuse. It could be bickering or flirting, it was pure fire.
One steamy hook up and on that same night a horrible crime happens. As a reader we aren't completely sure who knows what.
He's a big shot hockey player, shes a bad ass basketball player. Two hot as hell athletes that have this intense attraction. PHEW!
What I liked was the very taboo feeling of them falling for each other. Taboo because our girl is in a relationship when they first hook up GASP! And also because they do not know how much they can trust each other all while developing feelings for each other.
Set both in college and post graduation years, the slow build up to the truth and to finally allowing themselves to love each other it was just delicious.
I would love to see this as a movie.
