There were some decent pieces of advice and considerations in this book, a few I underlined. But the tone is very type A and I had more of a “just do it” vibe from the perceived value this was supposed to have. The author would acknowledge potential problems you’d be experiencing with your mindset, but the way to combat that, to my perception, was to “just get over it”. It was a slightly confusing and self contradictory read, but I don’t think I was the right target audience…like I said ,type A personalities may gain more traction from this book.

I loved this book so much. I think my favorite part is the crudeness. He is not afraid to tell it like it is. It really made me think about my life.
It’s decent, but nothing I haven’t heard before. It served the purpose of motivating me to reestablish some habits that have fallen to the side, but it didn’t really offer actionable steps. Nevertheless, a quick easy and motivating read.
