Twilight (20th Anniversary Edition) (The Twilight Saga, 1)

The book that inspired the global film phenomenon, starring Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
Fall in love with the addictive, suspenseful love story between and teenage girl and a vampire that redefined romance for a generation, from #1 New York Times bestselling author Stephenie Meyer.
In honor of the 20th anniversary of the genre-defining tale, this deluxe paperback edition features:
- Stunning, full-color inside cover art
- Dazzling sprayed edge design featuring an iconic quote from the book
Isabella Swan's move to Forks--a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington--could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn.
So far, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella--the person Edward now holds most dear.
Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.
A must-have collector's edition for any die-hard or newly minted Twilight fan.

It's been several years since I last reread Twilight. I'm always interested to see how my thoughts have changed. I still loved it. Enjoyed every word, and didn't want it to end. I'm absurdly excited for Midnight Sun.

1. Everyone sucks. Bella has one defining characteristic and it’s that she’s clumsy. Every boy is in love w her. Sigh.
2. Edward freaking STALKS HER and she’s FINE WITH IT
3. I don’t get the Edward Jacob rivalry, Jacob clearly never stood a chance
4. Horrific writing. Just. Awful.
5. ZERO TENSION. Literally they meet, you blink, they’re in love.
6. 25% of the way in Edward and Bella are in love already and he has told her all of his secrets. Then 25-70% of the way through, they’re literally doing NOTHING. Finally in the last 30% there’s so mild conflict. Ending bad (duh)
7. Bella: asks question
Edward: no it’s my deepest secret
Bella: asks again
Edward: tells Bella EVERYTHING and more literally TMI stfu Edward
This was the d word. DUMB.
