The last 15 pages are some of the most fun reading I've had in ages! I'm not super into western shoot-em-up stuff, but what makes this story unique is that it is told from the first-person perspective of a 14 year-old girl. She absolutely does not belong in the world of ruthless outlaws, snaggle-toothed sheriffs, and gambling dens, but there she is, seeking vengeance for the death of her beloved pops. All in a very upright, Lutheran kind of way. Such a refreshing perspective on what otherwise would be a bit of a hackneyed storyline. Thoroughly enjoyable.
