This was a very good read. When I tell you I felt all the feels, believe me. I was shocked, sad, hurt, tickled. A range of emotions were felt. Kylo was a complex man with a heart breaking past. He presents as mean hustler but there is so much more to him. He is real and raw with any and everybody. No matter the age or gender. And its hilarious what he will say. He's soft with his twin nephews and that is the relationship that makes readers see him differently. He finds love when he meets the female version of himself. Its beautiful. However, it brings out his best and worst parts. It triggers him in a way that pulls your heart strings and reminds you that you never know what people have lived through or may still be dealing with. Innocent, Kylo’s love interest, is pretty similar. She has demons from her past as well. They show us that family isn't always blood relatives. They show us that love can be healing along with other support systems. They show us that mental health is important and shouldn't be neglected. Their story is too beautiful. They soften each others' lives. They rebuild each other's spirit. They build their own family with beautiful babies who bring out the best in them, especially Kylo. I really enjoyed this book.

I went through so many emotions reading this!!! Laughed a lot and cried just as much. Both, Kylo and Innocent had such traumatizing childhoods. So heartbreaking. I'm glad they overcame everything they've been through and I'm happy for their happy lives. I hope Kylo continues to beat depression's ass.

“You are worthy” was the theme of Kylo Austin Lewis and Innocent Joy Doucet beautifully flawed love story.. I enjoyed this book so much.. it definitely took you on the highs and lows of real life situations and overcoming tragic obstacles.. Kylo’s dad, Keith, wasn’t ish, and was the main cause of the trauma he experienced and carried thru adulthood.. ready to end it all, his brother Kaivon found his and saved his life.. again.. he had killed their father while they were kids when his father was attempting to violate him in the worst way.. some people just evil.. but those scars affected him deeply until he got the help he so needed.. Carter, the therapist, really helped him thru his struggles to find relief and balance.. I loved the journey he went thru.. then, on the opposite end you have Innocent who was left an empire that she didn’t necessarily want, but was trying to follow the will left behind by her mom Trouble.. at her side was her crooked uncle Post that wasn’t about ish.. and she was close with his daughter, her cousin Capri.. after Innocent met Kylo, they were like twin flames.. I loved seeing how their relationship grew and progressed as well.. it was such a well written story.. but laughed and cried and laughed again.. definitely worthy 🥰 can’t forget his cute nephews “Uncle Kywo” and his fish sons that kept fighting 🤣
