A simple but easy read from trusty Jacqueline Wilson. A book that is easy to get into, quick to read and feels like a warm hug.

This book felt so nostalgic! 🥹 Growing up I read all of Jacqueline Wilson's books and I was so excited to read this one. Having seen the rating on Goodreads and reading some of the reviews, this book kept moving down my TBR list because I didn't want to feel disappointed - but I wish I'd have read it sooner! I absolutely loved being back with Ellie, Nadine and Magda - this book follows the life of a now middle aged Ellie but reflects back on their time at school together. Although the story line just cruises, I enjoyed reading the authors writing again and I found that I kept wanting to pick the book up because it gave me the same feels I had as a girl reading her books. If you grew up reading Girls in Love then you've got to read this!
