The only reason this book isn’t a four star is because it took me a significant chunk of the book to become as invested as I wanted to be. By the end I loved it, but I would have liked to feel the chemistry sooner.

When I first started this book I thought it was an interesting concept but so slow and dull. As I kept going though, it made sense why it started so slowly. The author wanted you to know the characters deeply and feel the length of time in that one long yet too short day. Wonderfully creative and heartbreaking.

I wasn't overly interested in this story at the start but after a while I ended up finding the story captivating, honest and as described on the back of the book sweetly devastating.
