Theo of Golden started out as a slow read, and steadily gained speed throughout the story. It’s a heartwarming book that you will wish it could have continued. You never know how much a small act of kindness can affect someone else. Worth the read!
Loved this book, it was well written and heartwarming. Tears of joy, kindness, friendship, and sadness wrapped in one beautiful novel.
Theo of Golden had so much buzz that I was expecting a wow, but the slow pacing left me waiting and wanting more to happen. While the story eventually built to something, it just took too long to get there. That said, the underlying theme of "random acts of kindness" for complete strangers was touching and poignant.
