Every sentence and paragraph is packed full of information that makes up a great historical fantasy! Pulling from Russian folklore and the beginnings of its Tsardom to set up a great middle of the story that pulls you in more and more. The beginning and end aren't my cup of tea but once you get through them it is the warmth of my kind of whiskey shot so, still good.
