Begin your journey into Middle-earth...

A New Legend Begins on Prime Video, in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

The Two Towers is the second part of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic adventure, The Lord of the Rings.

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

J.R.R. Tolkien's classic epic fantasy trilogy The Lord of the Rings, now with a fresh new package for Book 2, The Two Towers.

Frodo and his Companions of the Ring have been beset by danger during their quest to prevent the Ruling Ring from falling into the hands of the Dark Lord by destroying it in the Cracks of Doom. They lost the wizard Gandalf in the Mines of Moria. And Boromir, seduced by the power of the Ring, tried to seize it by force. While Frodo and Sam made their escape, the rest of the company was attacked by Orcs.

Now they continue their journey alone down the great River Anduin--alone, that is, save for the mysterious creeping figure that follows wherever they go.

TTT is one of my favorite LotR books. Read most of this at the beach. The first half of the book was my favorite part of the book the first time I read it and I didn't much care for the second part with just Sam and Frodo. So I was kinda dreading getting to that part (book IV). But! I actually really enjoyed the chapters on Sam and Frodo. They are so sweet together and watching Gollum's inner battle was fascinating. I also am noticing how rereading the books is helping rewrite the parts of my memory that is the film version of events as opposed to the book version. Finished this book on the way to DC and started RotK.

An amazing continuation from Fellowship. My winter '16-'17 read through of LOTR is being completed in a chronological order so there has been some jumping around through both "books" of this work to attempt to keep things in some form of order.

My favorite chapter of TT by far may have been Treebeard. There is so much in this chapter that was simply left of out Jackson's adaptation that it is simply a shame.

Onward to ROTK! Forth Eorlingas!

Absolutely phenomenal read. The movies are amazing as well. But if you haven’t already this book is an amazing fantasy read. Enjoy!
