The Spawn of Lilith: A Lilith Novel

Very entertaining genre book (kickass human woman deals with supernatural friends and enemies) with unique aspects -- she's a stunt person, a character made more real by the author's work as a stage sword-fighter and a B-movie actress (she did Army of Darkness). I especially liked the great relationships between women, and there was a welcome lack of softporn. I was so charmed by the character and the prose that it was almost disappointing when the novel shifted into the fight-the-big-bad-and-learn-her-true-nature climax. I'll look for the sequel.
