I gave this book 4 stars because it was a fast paced, fun read. This book is loaded with pop-culture references that make it feel current and lightens some of the suspense . Ashley, the main character, is rather Buffy-ish with her kick-a attitude and emergence of skills. All in all, it was a solid, fast read with some characters that I truly enjoyed, though they were a little 2-D on the whole, and I will be reading the sequel.
