I could not put these two books down. Two Twisted Crowns in particular had me completely enthralled. There was a moment when I was furious; Hoth’s return tested every emotion in me, but I was absolutely rooting for Raven, for Elf, for Aion, and oh, Elm… what an endearing, unforgettable soul. The way the story wove itself together was nothing short of magnificent.
⭐ Five stars, without hesitation.
If you adored Two Twisted Crowns, I highly recommend “One Dark Window” by Rachel Gillig. It is haunting, romantic, and lushly written, the perfect continuation of that gothic fantasy ache you’ll crave after turning the final page.
I just could not get into this one. It was very confusing and slow at the beginning and I didn't get invested in any of the characters really except Elspeth and the Nightmare. I am not a fan of fantasy or magic books so this really wasn't for me so take review with grain of salt
