I can always count on O’Leary to bring something new to the table. This romance was definitely different. I was intrigued. I so wanted to not like Joseph, but O’Leary kept me curious and sympathetic. While this one didn’t quite reach my enjoyment of her previous books, THE FLATSHARE and THE ROAD TRIP, it did all come together more seamlessly. While I had problems with a few plot points in those other books, I didn’t in this one. I enjoyed all the main characters, and the ending was satisfying. But don’t go into this one expecting all fun, it has depth and heart along with the fun.
3.5 I had one thought the whole time (I won't say cause spoilers) but I was very happy to be proven wrong. This book was a just keep reading book for me but I am glad I did. The twist gave the book so much heart and depth. It definitely made my opinion of the book change.
I reaaaaally enjoyed this book, such a nice way to tie everything together at the end and I love the whole idea behind it (fitting that I read it over Valentine's Day)
