The Mistake (Off-Campus, 2)

Get ready for another binge-worthy romance from international bestselling author and TikTok sensation Elle Kennedy.

He's a player in more ways than one...

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he'll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he's worth a second chance.

Now he's going to need to up his game...

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She's not a charity case, and she's not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He'll have to work for it. This time around, she'll be the one in the driver's seat...and she plans on driving him wild.

I also loved this one, but the first one was much better in my opinion. The first few pages were a bit of a shock to me, but overall it was good. Unfortunately, I’ve only read the first two of the series.

At first I DNFd this book but I decided I just needed to give it another shot since I enjoyed reading the Deal. I'm just not a huge fan of slow burn romances, they anger me like seriously just grow up and be adults! The end was cute though which was the only redeeming quality of this book for me- I'm a sucker for a good ending! Once Grace stopped acting like she was better than Logan she became a more likable FMC for me!

I mean, it was okay? Not a lot happened. I certainly didn’t enjoy it as much as the first in series. If I hadn’t already bought book 3, I probably wouldn’t continue. 5/10

Book 2 of the Off-Campus series was very sweet to me. I really enjoyed Logan and Grace's story, but it felt a little short to me. Maybe that's because I read this one on my Kindle rather than a physical copy, but either way, it seemed too short.

I thought it was sweet how Logan waited for Grace for months and months and then did everything he could to win her over. I just wish there was a little more.

I've read the first 3 books of the series as of writing this review and so far The Mistake is ranked 3rd out of the 3. We'll see how it ranks once I finish the series...
