Sasha, Seat F, and THE detective?! This was such a fun ride—a delicious mix of mystery, romance, and fate. The global hunt for the mystery man veered into a totally different direction - and I loved it. Even better? Her colleagues around the globe becoming highly invested in the search for love & finding their own.
Tia is my favorite author! Her spunky, bubbly personality shines through in her creations. I call it the Tia Touch™️! She writes FMCs I admire and MMCs I so desire.🤭
Quirky Black characters will always do it for me 🤌🏾👏🏾 Sasha had layers - finally opening up to love after being gripped in debilitating anxiety following a scary episode in her past. And her love interest was trying to find his way in life and with an extreme belittling family dynamic… they were each other’s perfect connection💞
The internal monologue, witty one-liners, & A+ details were peak Tia! “Natural Born Grilla” Hello! I wanted some of Wes’ BBQ ribs so bad!! She also brought back some blasts from the past, which I always look forward to.
Now…the CHEMISTRY. Whew! Tantalizing, seductive, heated, lush and super charged! It’s like the entire story Sasha and her man have been mind fkn, an extreme electricity permeating between them and it becomes inevitable, there’s nothing more to do but collide into each other with full force! My sister, daughter and I buddy read and ADORED this! I also BR with @beyondthecovers! The audiobook was fantastic! Khaya Fraites absolutely ATE—accents, tones, emotion, comedy, flirtiness…each character felt distinct and alive. She may just be my new fave!!
