Great book (again) by Francine Rivers. Haven’t liked all of her newer books, but this one hit it out of the park.
This story is one of my absolute favorites by Francine Rivers. Her style of writing really makes you feel like you know the characters personally. I loved the way this novel had elements of faith and forgiveness woven into it so effortlessly. The central romance of the novel is also developed phenomenally. You find yourself wishing the characters would just get together already, but you don’t want to spoil the very well thought out timeline Francine Rivers follows in letting their love story grow and develop as they mature separately into who they need to become before getting together.
