Love love love this book. The narrator’s voice is funny and smart and honest in a really gut-wrenching way. Addiction is ugly but recovery is beautiful and she captured that in a way that’s really uncommon, I find. I’m so glad I read this book!
Loved this! It kept me interested and I did not want to put it down. I’m getting back into reading and this was the first book I decided on. I feel like a lot of ppl can relate to life struggles while trying to hold it all together while trying to do better once you know better.
This book explores how a person may have it together outwardly, but the inner workings of addiction can overtake anyone. The question is, how do you fight to regain your life from addiction, disdain, felony conviction, and judgment. Is redemption possible?
This read felt emotional and I felt frustrated for her and so many other things. Bravery is what it takes to tell her story.
