This is my BOTM main selection for June and it was badass! Also my first book by Julie Clark who also wrote "The Last Flight" which I haven't read yet but I'm sure to add that close to the top of my list.

In this book we have two women: Meg and Kat. Meg is a career con artist. If she gets close to you then she already knows everything about you and you're dead already. Ok, maybe not dead but seriously screwed. We also have Kat who was screwed over by Meg ten years ago and had the whole course of her life changed for the worse. So, bitterly, she waits ten years for Meg to come back and when she does she is ready for some payback.

The good: These are two very well written characters with a ton of personality and character. I really liked them both and really wanted both of them to come out on top. Also this book was right at 280 pages. Everyone take a look! "All killer: no Filler" This is the perfect length in my opinion.

I really wish it was more twisty and at least one WTF twist would have been awesome but there really isn't. It basically just goes A to B to C...... But in a well written and entertaining manner. There is also a small set up for a sequel. I really hope so because I would love to read about these two again.

Great book!

This book was spell-binding. A twisty tale of revenge served cold. Female empowerment rising from the ashes of bitterness. The only thing I continue to harp on in my reviews is, the victimization of women through rape. I swear, it’s in every story I read. This one had this plot-point as well. But it wasn’t the full focal point. Not when there was a laundry-list of bad men behaviors overall. But instead, women using this bad behavior as a catalyst for action. And it was definitely action-packed. I loved it!
