The Last Devil to Die: A Thursday Murder Club Mystery

The fourth installment in the beloved and New York Times bestselling series from Richard Osman, also author of We Solve Murders

"The best Murder Club book yet. . . A poignant complement to both the fair-play mystery plot and the characters' lively humor."
--The New York Times Book Review

It's rarely a quiet day for the Thursday Murder Club.

Shocking news reaches them--an old friend has been killed, and a dangerous package he was protecting has gone missing.

The gang's search leads them into the antiques business, where the tricks of the trade are as old as the objects themselves. As they encounter drug dealers, art forgers, and online fraudsters--as well as heartache close to home--Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron, and Ibrahim have no idea whom to trust.

With the body count rising, the clock ticking down, and trouble firmly on their tail, has their luck finally run out?

And who will be the last devil to die?

Witty, charming, laugh out loud funny - was so pleased to discover I hadn't read this latest adventure of the gang and could get all caught up (*no pun intended, lol) - was also keen on the antiques angle - another hit - I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I was prepared, and yet, it still shook me. I agree with Joyce, they need to have some time without any murders.

I love, love, love everyone's growth and arcs. I truly felt I understood the ladies more and I am glad to see Ibrahm getting close to someone else other than Ron.

I will miss this group as the author, Richard Osman concentrates on another series and hope he will come back to this group. If not, he left them at a very good place.

The final book in the series of four, this had a “final” feeling, sad parts

Chris pick. #4 in a series. Four senior citizens -- a former spy, a former nurse, a psychiatrist, and a former labor organizer -- solve cold cases. These books are lighthearted fun despite all the murder. I consistently recommend them to friends and family.

Good next part of the story for the Thursday Murder Club that ties in a range of previously met characters nicely. I enjoyed it more than the previous couple but oh my… Chapter ? got me in floods of tears.
