This wasn’t really a Christmas novella. It only takes place during Christmas. The writing was a little awkward in places and the FMC was very hard to relate to and really hard to read about because of her negativity. This ultimately had an interesting second half but it’s more action than thriller in my opinion.
Good short story. Well written. Small twist at the end which gives it a satisfying ending
"The Kill Clause" by Lisa Unger is an engaging short story that is filled with action and unexpected twists. While it is set during the Christmas season, the holiday theme plays a minimal role, with only occasional references to Santa and gifts, particularly towards the end. Overall, it offers an enjoyable reading experience that keeps readers captivated from start to finish.
Gripping quick read. I was seriously surprised by the ending!
