This is the second Coben book I've read. While I clearly enjoy the numerous twists and turns, and tumultuous journey his books have taken me on, I feel that there is a 'cookie cutter' aspect to the book flow and characters. The other book I read was the Stranger... both books have an unsuspecting 'hero'/main character husband, an exotic dancer, a 'bad' cop, etc. He takes the reader on travels from suburbia to the underbelly of society. That's his shtick. But, in all, do have to say his formula works and hooks in the reader to the unraveling chaos that ensues. I've got more of his books on my list of "want to read". Bravo.
