Another great hit!
This time there are missing codes to a safe in 'The Compound', a homemade car bomb, a disappearing suspect, as well as Ritchie family drama that Ron needs to resolve with the help of notorious Connie (frug-dealer/Kingpin that the gang helped to put away...)
I think I really enjoy seeing the latest developments with the groups - Joyce & Ibrahim are doing quiz nights together, Ron admits that Ibrahim is his best friend, Elizabeth is still coping with her grief, Joanna gets married to a prof and Donna and Chris have taken a backseat in this latest series of puzzles...
The writing is great, the humour is witty and the characters are brilliant...🤗✨
This was a much quieter Thursday Murder Club, it was more character driven than plot driven. I love all of the characters and getting to know them all better was wonderful. Other less well known characters (not Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim, and Ron) came to the forefront and their younger minds were more instrumental in solving the mysteries. Joyce’s diary is always a help in identifying the main points of the story. This is such a great series.
Chris's recommendation.
Another humorous, touching adventure of the Thursday Murder Club plus family and friends.
Why so much Joanna? When did Ibrahim become a mansplainer and what happened to Computer Bob? This seemed hasty and off topic. Also the plot was so convoluted and unbelievable. Dang!
